LOCATION
The property, of modern construction, is situated 1km from the centre of St Antonin so a 15 minute walk gets you to the beautiful medieval town with its boulangerie, bars, and restaurants.
Situated within the delightful Aveyron Gorge, the single storey property has the most amazing panoramic views looking across and along the valley.
The 2 acre garden is carefully maintained with flowering shrubs near the house leading to a wildflower-filled meadow with mature trees and a private river frontage with fishing rights where you can make use of the fishing rods supplied.
PROPERTY
Only available for rental during the peak summer period of July and August. All bedrooms, kitchen and the lounge face south onto the patio and pool which is a few feet away from the accommodation. French windows in the lounge and the kitchen/garden room open fully to enjoy the best of the summer weather.
The pool is rounded at each end and measures 40ft by 20ft with a depth ranging from 3ft to 5ft. There are relaxers, sun beds and parasols around the pool area - a great place to read, eat, listen to the bird songs, snooze and of course have the occasional swim!
Because of the position of the pool and the steep river bank the property is not really suitable for very young children.
There are three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms with toilet.
The French windows in the lounge lead onto the south facing patio which is equipped with a retractable awning, providing essential shade from the sun.
On one side of the property is a lawned area with a BBQ, where games such a boules or frisbee can be played. Close by there are some designated cross country cycle tracks and many delightful walks. Cot and high chair available on request.
ACCOMMODATION
The light, bright kitchen, fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge/freezer adjoins the main living area which has ample chairs and sofas.
There are two twin rooms and a double bedroom, all of which are on the ground floor and have a view of the pool and garden. There are two modern bathrooms, one with a separate toilet.
A selection of 200 CDs, 100 paperbacks and family games are available in the large comfortable living room. There is a flat screen TV with BBC satellite channels, also CNN, sky News and Eurosport. A DVD is supplied with a small selection of disks.
