Our holiday homes can be found in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne, with the three major rivers of the Aveyron, the Tarn and the Garonne. This area is known for its pleasant way of life, offers a range of varied landscapes, alternating between plains and hills scattered with fields and orchards, wild gorges, limestone plateaus and sloping vineyards. This beautiful countryside, dotted with many dovecotes, invites fans of outdoor activities to explore it taking a walk, horse ride, cycle tour or mountain bike ride. As well as these natural attractions you will find wonderful heritage buildings, with mediaeval towns such as Bruniquel, Caylus and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, an abbey listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a town of Art and History, Montauban. A stay in Tarn-et-Garonne is also an opportunity to taste delicious local produce, like the famous Chasselas grape and duck specialities. A full programme to be enjoyed without moderation!

Comments from our visitors

CLAUZEL: Many thanks for giving us the opporunity of staying in such a lovely french home. We have loved our visit to Clauzel. Making use of the facilities, especially the pool, which heated to a perfect temperature. The views are fantastic and the hammock chair was a favourite spot. We made the journey to Monteils for our daily croissaants, delicious, but get here early! We had a ovely easy (flat!) bike ride along the Aveyron River, enjoyed the night market at Najac and a particular highlight for the children was definately the river swimming at Laguepie. Lovely to be back holidaying in France in the summer again and Clauzel has made it all the more amazing. We hope to be back soon.”

CLAUZEL: Perfect as usual! Nice location, quite area. Very nice place to stay. The kids love the garden and swimming pool. The person in charge takes care of everything to make sure you have a stressless stay”.

ROUSSERGUES: This was our 3rd stay at this property. We fell in love with the house and the location the first time we went there in 2012. We have been back twice since and the location and settings is just perfect for us as a family. It is a very long way to drive to from UK but if you are seeking a week or two to just sit back and enjoy great weather, wine and food, then it is worth the effort. From the house you can attend daily village markets which are all worth it. Sunday morning market at St Antonin sur Val is superb ( go early to get parking space) and Thursday morning at Villefranche de Rouergue is just bigger and wilder. Najac is another village nearby voted as one of the most beautiful in France and worth the detour. The property itself is great and the addition of wifi is most welcome.

LA BARABIE: Thank you Bill for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. The boys have enjoyed the pool and grounds enormously. Thank you for being so accommodating with all our sporting endeavours and for being so kind and understanding with our dog, Oscar. You really helped us to relax. Hope the weather can make its mind up soon but a few cloudy days have not stopped us from having a fun-filled holiday”

LA SALESSE: We absolutely loved la Salesse…. I was happiest there than I’ve been in ages. (It’s been a tough year, dad died in Jan). Window screens were great at La Salesse… and made life there more comfortable. No bites. The pool and view were stunning, and we occasionally had swallows dip in the pool for a drink in the eve which was amazing. The setting of La Salesse made it feel very private. Any way, I’d love to return to La Salesse.

MILLE FOUNS: We just want to say that we had a fantastic holiday in Mille Founs this year. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was peaceful, relaxing, adventurous, cultural and very hot! All just what we needed! The house, garden and pool were perfect and plenty hills for the boys to cycle around! Many thanks for making our stay very stress free. Also, Marcus was very helpful and friendly!”
EASTHAUGH family, July 2022
CLAUZEL: The views around this house are absolutely stunning and it’s been one of the best places we have stayed in years … The pool is great fun to swim in and the man who looks after the pool, Richard, is a great help. The house is warm and cosy and it has been such a joy to stay here, I hope we can come back. Thank you so much Clauzel”
DAVIES family, August 2019
ROUSSERGUES: “The house was really well stocked with everything we could possible need. We loved the simplicity of the building. And the views, oh my goodness!”
SNOEK party, August 2019
ROUSSERGUES: “We had a wonderful holiday – your house is beautiful and is situated in such a perfect position for the weather and the views. Watching the sunrise is marvelous. Caylus is a beautiful town and the drive to and from is so picturesque, it’s breath-taking.”

TILEY party, September 2019
LA SALESSE: Sorry we meant to write in your visitors book before we left! We had a lovely week in your beautiful home relaxing in the glorious peace and tranquility! The weather was kind so much time spent relaxing by the pool and on the two cloudy days made the most of exploring the area. A jolly evening in Parisot on the last night, the French do love their karioke!! We did some watering to ensure the beautiful plants didn’t suffer in the heat. I was intrigued by what I think was a smooth snake living in the hole in the wall on the left as you through the gate up to the pool…..it gave me quite a shock as it slithered away into the wall! The house was perfect, everything that we needed and many thanks for the basket of goodies that surprised and delighted us on our arrival.
