… Fresh bread from the bakery, countryside sausage (saucisse seche) and foie gras from the butcher, a couple of French cheeses – Roquefort and camembert (add honey – “miel”), pears, butter, tomatoes, olives, endives (chicory) and biscuits from the supermarket or the Sunday market, local wine and water. All served around the kitchen table or in the garden.

Located over the bridge, just off the one-way system, continue up the hill for a short while and it is on the right (not very obvious). Very popular with the French, it’s best to book. The menu of the day is very reasonably priced, but the food is a bit special.
